#248 REO Speedwagon.... Hi infidelity

Released 1980

I listened to this album a lot when I was a senior in high school in 1981. Then I reached a point where every time I hear Kevin Cronin start to sing "Heard it from a friend who. Heard it from a friend who....." I would quickly change the channel.

I had no desire to listen to this album. However. My classmates, and I celebrated our 35th anniversary from high school. So.. I decided listening to the best selling album of 1981 would be good tribute.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The lyrics are pretty stupid, but I really liked the musical arrangements, and production, and especially the guitar playing of Gary Rickwrath.

The best thing about today's listen were the memories it rekindled. I'm glad I listened.

I give this album 3.5 stars out of 5

The series and the music lyrics make it enjoyable among the listeners. The released is mention in the superiorpapers.com services as a big hit. The lyrics are originally pretty crazy which show the pure feelings for the students. It gives you the feeling and let your memories gives another tour.
